Faces of Myanmar: waiting for the train

Myanmar, Yangon suburbs. Dan Yin Gon Market and railway station.

In the morning, many Myanmar catch the "circular train", which enables, along tens of very short stopovers, a round trip around Yangon. 

They embark with lots of packages, bundles, sheaves of plants, and vegetable baskets, or even general items.

Arriving in Dan Yin Gon Station, they quickly drop everything on the railway station platform, and sell their material in the neighboring market.

Between passing trains, life takes place also on the rails themselves.
