Burmese Soul: Ayearwaddy riverbanks

Heading north from Saggaing, the path to Mingun is a balcony over the secondary arms of the Ayearwaddy River.

Here and there, people sail, fish, or wash their clothes in the stream. Sometimes, pink and red-orange colour spots indicate the presence of Budhist nuns.
